So I’m new to the whole horse drawn thing, with a lot of learning to do. So far I have two Percheron, no harness, and the old plow that a friend gave me is stamped 19RH. Even with our mild soil type I don’t think two horse power is gonna be enough for that. On the plus side, I have been an amateur smith for many years, (not a knife smith). So, that’s me here with loads of questions. But I’ll get to that.April 12, 2017 at 12:02 pm #90303

We’re up in Washington County, outside Prairie Grove. If you’re up this way, let me know! Not many draft animal folks here.April 15, 2017 at 9:45 am #90308
I might have to plan a trip up, if you have time to do some teaching.April 19, 2017 at 11:35 am #90315
Well, I’d be a bad teacher, I think–we’ve only been working with horses for about six months–I think all i could teach would be bad habits!
