from what I hear, a lot of these horses are on the market now…
since they constitute the main way of travelling for most of the agricultural populace, it might have been better, to leave the roads accessible during daylight and keep these carts off at night; I wonder how the farmers fare without their work force, little money as they have…January 14, 2009 at 4:22 pm #45291DubbaParticipant
A new law prohibits horses and carts from the country’s main arteries. The reason is that they are responsible for 10% of the nation’s auto accidents.
I cannot help but think that if they banned automobiles the accident rate would go down 90% instead of a measly 10%. It might even be found that the accident rate could go down near to 100% because of the obvious lack of anything to run into the horse and carts:eek:
