Saturday October 4th Schedule

We know folks like to be able to plan ahead for which workshops they want to come to, or when they should volunteer, or to find a good time to catch up with friends. So here is our tentative workshop schedule for Saturday October 4th.

These workshops will be taking place at different areas of Sanborn. The 15 minute break is to give folks plenty of time to move between areas.

Morning Block One (8:15-9:45)

What to Look for when Buying your First Draft
Meet and Greet (Youth Teamsters)

15 minute break

Morning Block Two (10:00-11:30)

Basic Chainsaw Maintenance & Safety
Oxen Hoof Care
Obstacle Course & Chores with Drafts (Youth Teamsters)

Lunch (11:30-1:15)

Afternoon Block One (1:15-2:45)

Large Animal Emergency Rescue
Equine Dentistry
Hands-On Stoneboat Build (Youth and all ages welcome!)

Afternoon Block 2 (3:00-4:30)
Harness Fitting & Yoke Building
Hoof Care & Farriery
Implement Skills Demonstration (Youth Teamsters)

Evening:

Dinner (5:00-6:00)

Fundraising Auction (6:00)

Bonfire! (After the auction)
